As if the skyrocketing prices of gasoline wasn’t upsetting enough, it seems like our favorite beverage will be the next victim of rising prices.
India, one of the world’s number one sources of tea ,reported in February that their production was down by more than 1/10th. What does this mean for tea lovers of the world? Limited supplies with high demand = higher prices for the tea drinker. Now I don’t want to get everyone in a panic, but all I’m saying is that you may want to make sure that you’re stocked up well on your favorite green teas, and oolong. I’m not saying go crazy and buy crates of tea to keep in your garage. But it also wouldn’t necessarily be the worst idea, would it?
