Jasmine Flower Ball Tea

The Jasmine ball before tea time

So Justin brought in one of these puppies to work the other day.  Basically, it’s a Jasmine flower all dried up and magically made into a ball somehow.  I don’t know how these things just happen, but I was happy with how it turned out.   So we started out by filling up the french press (Bodum of course, its a TCM staple) with about 4 cups of hot water and just dropped the ball right in.  Then we waited with bated breath.

Here we are anxiously awaiting the tea extravangza.

The experiment was such a success, that i decided to try another flower the next day in my ingenuiTEA.  Here’s the flower almost fully bloomed.  Let me tell you, not only is the tea making process a site to see, but the tea itself is very subtle and smells amazing.

Cool! I didn’t know about the club, very interesting. I will forward this to my fiancee in Tokyo. I’m sure she will be surprised !

Nice! I’ve never seen any men’s tea club in Japan. So smart!
